Not much to update with. I've felt the creativity bug bugging me more than usual of late. I've sort of been off kilter the last month or so since getting my new computer - it's been such a wild ride! It may not be the best thing ever or really up to exact modern standards, but its *good*, which is more than I could have ever asked of the computer I used through my teenage years in to my mid-20's, or the laptop I used as my source of computing for a solid two years. I've been able to play the games I want to(mostly) at a level I can enjoy them. It's been a blast. It pretty much put everything that wasn't school or job hunting to the side while

Been thinking a lot about how seriously I take writing lately. I've written commissions for a friend, done a few pieces for a friend, and I RP fairly regularly for my own amusement and to kill time. After finishing some recent books, chief among them being Aaron Dembski-Bowden's latest in his Night Lords series Blood Reaver sparked some sort of inspiration in me. Along with that has been beating Deus Ex: Human Revolution, which I think is another title that gives the whole 'video games can't be art' statement the middle finger. I'm inspired by these stories - it makes me wish I could write something to evoke stuff in people - excitement, sad
